Keirsten Taillon, Psy.D. (Board Chair)
Keirsten is an Organization Development and Human Resources Consultant. She teaches communications, leadership, change management, strategic management and related courses to public, private and non-profit organizations. She facilitates meetings and retreats with passion and strategies that supports the team’s results. Keirsten creates a dynamic and energetic learning and facilitative environment based in best practices and, applied to the workplace.
Ryan Kelly (Treasurer)
Ryan is the Vice President of Audit Services at Golden 1 Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions in the nation with over $16B in assets. As the head of the internal audit function, Ryan leads a team of both internal and external auditors and consultants in reviewing Golden 1’s financials, policies, and practices, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. Prior to joining Golden 1, Ryan spent over 10 years with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, managing and directing internal and external audit and consulting teams throughout the west region. Ryan is invested in the development and success of the youth within his community and currently serves on the Board of a not-for-profit community based soccer organization dedicated to developing young people not only athletically, but also through personal growth.
Lyn Farr (immediate past Chair)
Lyn brings over 30 years of human service administration and direct service experience to iFoster. Over the course of her career, she has led organizations and programs serving foster children, youth, and parents as well as children with developmental disabilities and their families and adults with serious and persistent mental illness.
Robert Beaudry (Vice-Chair)
Since 2007 Robert has served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the California Primary Care Association (CPCA), a statewide association serving 175 community clinic corporations and over 1,000 individual sites providing comprehensive primary healthcare to over 5 million patients in California. Prior to joining CPCA, Robert spent twenty years in community based organizations and held management and leadership positions with several large children’s services organizations including Victor Treatment Centers, River Oak Center for Children, and the Sacramento Children’s Home. With a leadership background that includes systems management, team development, organizational development and culture, Robert’s career has focused on improving organizational performance and efficiency in non-profit corporations. Robert is currently on the Board of several Sacramento based youth focused non-profits
Holly Kuebler Britt
Holly is a professional fundraiser specializing in major and planned gifts. She works to make charitable organizations thrive by giving them the means to do the important work of helping people. She has led planned giving efforts at both Georgetown University and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Her fundraising career was born out of her work as an attorney representing charitable organizations at Gammon & Grange, P.C. where she represented and counseled a variety of nonprofit organizations, businesses, media companies, and individuals in a number of matters including nonprofit and exempt organization law, intellectual property, communications, employment law, and civil litigation. She lives outside Washington, D.C. with her husband and two children.
Jeff Newton (Secretary)
Jeff Newton is a strategic business executive with more than 39 years’ experience in the food supply chain. During the past 22 years, he has held several senior management positions with FHI, a national labor solutions company, before recently joining SASR, a national staffing organization as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Previously, Jeff served as chief operations officer for A&M Cleaning Products and started his career with Food Lion, holding a number of leadership roles for more than 13 years. Jeff is one of the visionaries who helped design and launch the iFoster Jobs Program, bridging the need for employees in the grocery industry with the untapped potential of foster youth in need of living wage careers.
Anne Ferrell Tata
Anne Ferrell Tata works with the Partnerships Team for K-LOVE and Air1 Radio, which is governed by EMF Broadcasting, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit ministry. Anne earned her BA from Florida State University. She has been an inventor, patent holder, political fundraiser, triathlete, and an award-winning medical sales representative. She frequently writes, speaks or hosts events on a variety of topics which she is passionate about including marriage, family, and Christian faith. Anne lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with her husband Bob and frequently travels with her work. She is a frequent content contributor to various platforms including the myCBN App.
Karen Keogh is the Head of Global Philanthropy at JPMorgan Chase & Co. In this role, Karen leads the overall strategy for the firm’s global philanthropic investments in expanding economic inclusion around the globe by overseeing the JPMorgan Foundation, employee engagement and volunteerism, and the Office of Nonprofit Engagement. JPMorgan Chase is a leader in philanthropy with investments in communities and nonprofit organizations across 39 countries. In 2018, the firm announced a new commitment to increase community investments by 40 percent over the next five years reaching $1.75 billion. Karen joined JPMorgan Chase in 2010 as Managing Director and Head of State and Local Government Relations, overseeing the firm’s lobbying and political activities in states and municipalities nationwide, as well as a broad set of civic engagement initiatives. Before joining JPMorgan Chase, Karen was the President of KPK Strategies, a boutique public affairs firm based in New York City. She has an extensive background in government, public policy and politics with experience on the national, state and local levels. From 2002 to 2009, Karen served in a number of key roles for then-U.S. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, including as the Senator’s New York State Director and as the campaign manager for Clinton’s successful re-election bid in 2006. Karen currently serves as a trustee for the Stony Brook Foundation, a board member of iFoster, and an ex-officio board member of the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. She resides in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn, with her husband Mike and their daughter.
Neil brings over 15 years of digital marketing experience to iFoster. Neil is the Founder and CEO of Silverback Strategies, a digital marketing agency. Silverback has been recognized by Inc magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in the country for 5 consecutive years and AdAge magazine as one of the top 50 best places to work.
Serita Cox, CEO & Co-Founder
Serita is responsible for strategy and programs. As the driving force behind iFoster, Serita brings to bear her personal experience with foster care, devoted commitment to a number of youth development initiatives, and over a decade of experience in executive-level management in Silicon Valley, corporate strategy consulting and non-profit strategy consulting. Despite all this corporateness, she is also the person “most likely to be hugged” by a client. For her work with iFoster, Serita has been recognized as a White House Office of Social Innovation Citizen Innovator, an Echoing Green Fellow, and an American Leader of Change.
